CALGARY, Alberta (AP) _ Vermilion Energy Inc. (VET) on Monday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $44.3 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier. The Calgary, Alberta-based company said it had a loss of 28 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 21 cents per share. The oil and natural gas explorer posted revenue of $242.6 million in the period. For the year, the company reported a loss of $1.13 billion, or $7.17 per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $835.8 million. Vermilion shares have risen 60% since the beginning of the year.
