Digitalisation main priority for oil experts at Adipec ABU DHABI While digital transformation has been on the oil and gas radar for some time, harnessing the power of new technologies is now the number one priority for the industry’s most senior decision-makers as they plot a path forward for their business. Responding to the high importance being placed on digital transformation and disruption, the world’s leading oil and gas event, the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (Adipec) has introduced an all-new Digitalisation Zone for its 2018 edition. Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; hosted by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc); and supported by the UAE Ministry of Energy, the Abu Dhabi Chamber, and the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, Adipec will take place from November 12 to 15, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec).
