Hello!
My name is Karen Gowans and I’m an Executive Assistant at IG Wealth Management. I enjoy networking and being employed by a company that believes in giving back to the business community.
IG Wealth Management is providing a free downtown event room to entrepreneurs, associations, companies, etc. in the energy sector:
-modern, clean, attractive, spacious multi-purpose event room that can hold approximately 45 people
-downtown and conveniently located by the CTrain line
-technologically equipped
-we’ll also give you access to a nice kitchen that has an attractive sitting and counter area
The space can be used for networking events, presentations, seminars, training, social events, and much more!
We are offering the free space because we enjoy assisting people (and networking!) within the energy sector.
We are open to assisting non-profits as well as for-profit organizations and individuals in need of event space. Depending on your goals/situation, we may be willing to provide sponsorship in the form of complimentary food and beverages for your event. Let’s talk!
Interested? We’ll be happy to show you the space if you meet any one of the five qualification criteria below:
1) must be in the energy sector or provide a product or service that assists the energy sector
2) you are committed to diversity and inclusion with regards to your activities in the energy sector
3) the work you do educates energy sector professionals
4) you or the organization you represent provides networking opportunities to people in energy
5) you are an engineer, geologist, or geophysicist
Please note: there are guidelines that apply with regards to the use of our event venue.
