DXP/HSE is looking for an Account Manager will grow sales and increase company profits by cultivating current customers and recruiting new customers. The representative will increase profitability by promoting products, providing technical support and conducting training to new and repeat customers within an assigned territory.
Directly report to: Vice President of Sales
Duties/Responsibilities
- Manage customer relationships and satisfaction
- Generate new sales with existing customers and develop opportunities with new customers within assigned territory
- Liaison between the client and departments within the company to ensure accurate understanding of information
- Utilize online sales tools (CRM) to ensure that Operations and Management are informed on sales, upcoming projects and activity
- Visit job sites as needed to measure or provide client services
- Gather competitive information and other market information regularly while interacting cooperatively with other members of the sales team
- Prepare and present quotations
- Collaborate with management, develop and meet sales and training objectives
- Provide input and assist in development of presentations and other marketing collateral.
- Create and conduct in-depth sales presentations that highlight key benefits, ROI, and value
- Practice honesty and integrity in customer and vendor relations
- Participate in trade association functions as required
- Participate and be active in local industry organizations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- At least 1-3 years sales and marketing experience
- Business degree or equivalent training
- Strong relationship and communications skills
