Most of what we experience in life comes from doing and performing. Decisions are made to accept a path that leads to a predetermined destination.

1. Presence
Chasing moments can be exhausting, so take a step back and be present. Trying to multitask and fulfill every obligation in a split second is overwhelming. Slow down your day and let your presence command attention.
What you do matters, and how you choose to live your day counts, but all will be lost if the presence is not fostered.

5. Rebounding From Failure
Success is not achieved without failure. Instead of honing in on what did not happen, see what can be created from what did happen. It’s time to rebound from your failures faster than you succeed. With every fall comes a chance to stand tall.
Failures bring about progress from the lessons learned, but nothing is learned if you don’t get back up and take the next step. When you really think about it, failing is the easy way out. Getting back up, though, requires more fortitude and passion.
Life is fulfilling in many ways. As you connect your heart with your everyday actions, momentum and motivation build. The passion in life becomes more apparent. The reflection of who you see develops further, and success is on the horizon.
6. Optimizing Your Day
When was the last time you consulted your calendar? Probably five minutes ago. In all seriousness, how busy are you? Busyness has become a badge of honor, and for what reason? Your calendar is not your life, yet that’s how you choose to live.
If you want passions in life, you have to look at the whole picture. Most of us have appointments that do not matter or are just taking up space.
The calendar becomes the crutch to a collage of clutter.

7. Being a Better You
You are steering your own ship, so decide how you want to live your life. Overwhelm doesn’t have to be your middle name. Do not give the world permission to dictate who you are.
Spend time on who you are becoming. Some would argue this is a waste of time, but remember, as you strive to live out your purpose, your passion in life must lead. This requires much of your attention.
As you continue your life’s journey, there will be opportunities for more growth. Embrace them with open hands and be willing to do the work with decisive actions. Soon your reflection will be that of your best self.
Where Are You Now?
One of the hardest things to do is take an honest and raw look at where you stand and who you are. If you could be your younger self, seeing what your older self is doing currently, would your younger self be thrilled at where you are now?
Getting real forces the layers to be peeled back and the masks removed. Who needs to hide when you are confident and living your life? Every day, you have the opportunity to impact the world you touch through your passions in life. Desire more than what you see.

Many will read this, and nothing will change. Habitual actions will lead the day, and what matters will go astray, but this is not the only way.
