This year, Fluor celebrates a remarkable 70 years in Canada. Since first establishing a Canadian presence in 1949, Fluor has been involved in engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction services for clients throughout Canada and around the world. From its first project in Canada in the 1940s (a refinery in British Columbia), to some of its latest projects (including a joint venture to provide EPFC services for a liquefied natural gas export facility in British Columbia, and the construction of an international bridge between Ontario and Michigan), Fluor continues to be at the forefront of some of this country’s most prominent developments.
