Supply Management Analyst - Canadian Natural Resources (2 Visits)

The Supply Management Analyst will be responsible for contract formation to support the operational activities of Canadian Natural’s Conventional, Thermal and Oil Sands production. Our Supply Management team oversees and drives the activities and resources required to execute the procurement and contract management process including scope development, supply market research and positioning, requests for proposals/quotations, evaluation, negotiation and award of contracts and agreements.
This position is based in Calgary, Alberta.
**Please Note: This is a contract position for a 12 month period of time**
• Follow Canadian Natural Supply Management Policies and Procedures to provide support at all phases of the sourcing cycle, including Request for Proposals (RFP)/ Request for Quotations (RFQ), proposal evaluations, awards, contract formation and contract administration
• Prepare agreements and contracts for Environmental Services
• Administer contracts including change orders and amendments as required
• Establish and maintain auditable files for all contracts to ensure proper documentation is in place and can be referred to
• Prepare meeting notes and track action items
• Close out contracts
• Contribute to vendor development, specifically supplier relationship management programs
• Supply marketplace research and data analysis
• Prepare and submit reports and other metrics as and when required such as spend evaluation and cost comparisons
• Typically 4+ years of supply management experience with an university degree or related post-secondary education
• Certification as a Supply Chain Management Professional (S.C.M.P.) is considered beneficial
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Experience with JD Edwards would be considered beneficial
• Experience with Contract Management systems
• Experience with contract development – including negotiating contract terms and conditions
